Weathervane with year copper – Windrose D – Historical Design

Painted or unpainted?:
A varnish protects the copper from the weather and from the onset of a patina. The copper shine is thus preserved for a long time. If you choose the painted version, the entire weathervane and wind rose will be polished and then painted, therefore the weathervane will look like new for a long time.
Often the weathervane should also look antique to fit better with an old house, for example. Unpainted, the typical verdigris and patina quickly develop on the weather vane.

Letter height: 9 cm
Flag leaf height: 26 cm
Flag leaf length: 45 cm

The wind rose type D has squiggly letters with an easily readable height of 11 cm.
The total wind rose has a diameter of 56 cm.

1 x copper weathervane banner with desired year
1 x wind rose type D copper

Mounting the weather vane with year:
We recommend mounting by means of an M12 threaded rod.
