Copper weather vane banner

Painted or unpainted?:
A varnish protects the copper from the weather and from the onset of a patina. The copper shine is thus preserved for a long time. If you choose the painted version, the entire weathervane and wind rose will be polished and then painted, therefore the weathervane will look like new for a long time.
Often the weathervane should also look antique to fit better with an old house, for example. Unpainted, the typical verdigris and patina quickly develop on the weather vane.
